+The message *Couldn't connect to host ...* means that FairEmail was not able to connect to the email server.

+Possible causes are:

+* A firewall is blocking connections to the server
+* The email server is refusing to accept the connection
+* The host name or port number is invalid
+* The are problems with the internet connection
