**(13) How can I remove the ongoing notification in the status bar?** **(13) How can I remove the ongoing NetGuard entry in the notification screen?**
* Long click the notification * Long click the NetGuard notification
* Tap the 'i' icon * Tap the 'i' icon
* Enable '*Block all*' * Depending on your device and/or ROMs manufacturer software customisations, you can be directed to either:
* the **App Info** screen and you can uncheck '*Show notifications*' and agree to the next dialog
* the **App Notifications** screen and you can toggle the '*Block*' slider to on
Note that this will disable any warning notifications as well. Note that, whether or not you get a dialog warning to agree upon, this operation will disable any warning notifications from NetGuard as well.

**(14) Why is the screen briefly flashing when I enable '*Verify credentials*'?**
If NetGuard does not have **Device Admin** permission and you toggle '*Verify credentials*' to on, you should be directed to the proper permission screen where you can Agree or Cancel. On some devices and/or ROMs this does not happen, the **Device Admin** permission screen is shown for a split second and then it disappears. You can still enable or disable the **Device Admin** permission for NetGuard in the device settings as you would normally though.
