This is a difficult problem and solution to describe in text. If you have a range of episodes that are sequential, but incorrectly numbered you can easily fix them. You'll sort them correctly to start with, select the range w/ tick + shift-tick, select the correct season and then select the correct episodes w/ tick + shift-tick again.
