c20b9a6df4 experimental speed tweaks: 
(1) increase the per-peer read buffer to the size of a block message

a7d087b60a use a custom struct for the peer's four request queues since John_Clay's shark report shows it taking up about 40% of the time in malloc/free. also, maybe this will help the "idle memory" numbers some. 2008-02-29 03:41:50 +00:00
